1. How do I book the service?

2. Where are my items stored?
Our studio is located in downtown Toronto. We have invested in a top-of-the-line security system to ensure maximum security for your clothes.
3. How do you track and record my garments?
Store Your Style will give you a written receipt when we come to collect your garments. When your garments arrive at our studio we take a detailed inventory which is then logged into our computerized database. Every garment bag and storage box will have an identification code which is directly related to the customer. We will also email or mail you a computerized copy of the receipt. You will then have two copies for your records.
4. What is the length of my commitment?
For our regular packages we ask for a 6 month minimum commitment. However, we do offer storage solutions for shorter periods, such as our house moving package.
5. Are my stored items insured?
Yes. Store Your Style is fully insured. If you would like additional insurance on some or all of your garments we can arrange this service. Please contact us for more details.
6. How long does it take to retrieve something I need?
If you are a Gold Service member we can retrieve your clothes and deliver them to your home with 48 hours notice. If you are a Concierge Service member we can retrieve your clothes and deliver them to your home with 24 hours notice.
7. When do you pick up and deliver?
Our core hours are Monday to Friday 8 am to 9pm but we will endeavour to accommodate all pick-ups and deliveries around your busy schedule.
8. Do I need to be present when you deliver my wardrobe?
While we like to meet all of our customers face-to-face we can deliver your clothing to a doorman or front desk security guard. We need expressed written consent by the owner of the clothes in order to deliver to a third party
9. How do you suggest I store my clothes?
The first step to optimize clothing preservation is laundering your garments before storing. We provide you with top-of-the-line cedar and lavender preservatives which are environmentally friendly, natural repellants. If you use cedar at home make sure you lightly sand-paper your cedar every season to enhance its odour. If you can’t smell it, pests can’t either!
10. What if I want to store shoes & boots?
Store Your Style will make every attempt to accommodate your individual style and needs. If you are a shoe-loving woman we will come up with a solution which appeals to you!
11. What types of items can I store with Store Your Style?
We accept casual wear, evening wear, outerwear, shoes and boots. As of January 2007 we will also accept sporting goods such as golf clubs, tennis racquets, skis and snowboards.
12. What if I don't live in Toronto, can I still use Store Your Style?
If you do not live in the City of Toronto we can still service you.
In the GTA we service Markham, Richmond Hill, Mississauga, Thornhill, and Concord. If you do not see your town listed please call us as we will endeavour to accomodate your needs. |
